EMIS Ahead Of Target On GP2GP Roll-Out
EMIS is ahead of target in the national roll-out of GP2GP electronic record transfer software, with 1,557 EMIS practices now using the technology. Of the 1,557, 992 practices are using GP2GP version 1.1, which enables records to be transferred between EMIS and InPS systems. This is ahead of the target set by Connecting for Health for 988 EMIS practices to be trained and installed with version 1.1 by the end of September 2007.
